Aqua Amazonite Faceted Bead Necklace
The Gold Album x Middle Child Studio
ONE-OF-A-KIND
Faceted rondelle beads in a cool, watery aqua catch the light with every movement, giving this necklace a subtle sparkle that’s different from a smooth cut stone. Finished with a 14K Lobster clasp, it’s an easy layering piece.
Some collaborations start with an idea. This one started with an eye. Hilary Muxlow, founder and designer of The Gold Album, had long admired Susannah Gwinn’s work — hand-forged pieces made by Middle Child Studio in Carpinteria, California. The two found common ground in a way of living: coastal, unhurried, always a little salt-kissed.
Together, they’ve created a collection made for that life. Each piece is handmade by the sea, with beads chosen for the colors and creatures found there. 14K gold clasps and fittings meet Susannah’s raw, hand-forged work — jewelry sturdy enough for a swim, a surf, a saltwater rinse, and elegant enough for dinner after. Jump in. Dry off. Put on your little black dress. It stays with you.
